Dr. Jie (Bella) Bai is an experienced family physician, medical educator, and the Medical Director of Fresh Bay Medical Centre in Richmond, British Columbia. With a diverse medical background spanning China and Canada, Dr. Bai brings extensive experience in comprehensive family medicine, chronic disease management, preventive healthcare, and patient-centred care. ## Clinical Background Before establishing her medical practice in Canada, Dr. Bai completed her postgraduate medical education in China and gained valuable clinical experience at Changhai Hospital in Shanghai. She began her Canadian medical practice in Port Hardy, British Columbia, in 2015, before relocating to Richmond to continue serving patients and families in the community. ## Medical Education & Mentorship In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Bai is actively involved in medical education and physician mentorship. She serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University (SFU) Medical School, and as a Clinical Preceptor for the University of Victoria Nurse Practitioner Program. She is also an Assessor and Supervisor for the Practice Ready Assessment – British Columbia (PRA-BC) program, supporting internationally trained physicians entering medical practice in Canada. ## Medical Aesthetics Dr. Bai also has a professional interest in medical aesthetics and regenerative approaches to patient wellness.
